Who we are

PHOENIX connects a multidisciplinary group of 15 partners from across the EU. The project brings together academic partners encompassing political scientists, sociologists, legal scholars, ICT experts, psychologists, geographers and town planners.

The e-Governance Academy (eGA) is a foundation that assists public sector and civil society organisations in making digital transformation happen. Since 2002, eGA trains and advises leaders and stakeholders in using information and communication technology (ICT) to increase the competitiveness, transparency and openness of societies through digital transformation and e-governance. eGA team makes this happen through consultancy, training, research and assisting in the implementation of e-government technical solutions. eGA has cooperated with more that 230 organisations in 132 countries and regions. OFICINA is a non-profit entity, which is dedicated to acting in two main areas, namely: i) participatory democracy, through the design, development, monitoring and evaluation of processes of citizen participation; ii) planning and evaluation, especially in the area of public policies. The combination of the two areas is also a priority for OFICINA. OFICINA’s team has very significant experience in the design of methodologies and tools for citizen participation, owning a large network of institutional partners. OFICINA’s members have worked for 3 years as consultants for the design, development and evaluation of the national Youth Participatory Budgeting process in Portugal.
