Within the framework of the Conference of The International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IOPD), the PHOENIX Project presents Co-designing participatory processes for the implementation of the European Green Deal, a roundtable designed to discuss the effectiveness of co-design processes.
Organised by Res Publica and the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra (CES), the event will take place on Thursday, 8 December 2022 at 6.30 pm (CET).
The roundtable will see the participation of Giovanni Allegretti (PHOENIX’s Project Coordinator – CES), Agnès Grandou (Head of the Métropole Rouen Normandie’s Local COP21), Sophie Guillain (Partner and Head of Res Publica) and Nelson Dias (Co-founder of Oficina).
The speakers involved in the discussion will explore the effectiveness of co-designing participatory processes: what experiences of co-design do exist? How to involve authorities, stakeholders, and citizens in designing deliberative and dialogue processes that will make the implementation of the European Green Deal more effective?
